Propose resources required for internal audit and the requirements of the external service providers, and conduct training / workshops and transfer financial knowledge to team members.
Review the risk assessment process, prepare and update risk register for entities subject to audit.
Lead the development of documents and materials required to present internal audit activities, achievements and important issues to the Audit Committee.
Conduct field visits related to financial activities within the work plan and approve the audit program, work papers and documents related to specific audit areas.
Monitor and follow up appointment schedules to ensure that assignments are completed successfully according to the annual audit plan on a priority basis.
Conduct quality audit and monitor compliance with approved audit procedures in relation to all financial activities.
Lead the effective implementation of planned / private / unplanned internal audits, investigations, and major fraud reviews, and verify the adequacy of supporting documentation related to the audit findings reported.
Facilitate discussion with concerned employees about all problems, controls, other financial controls and processes related to issues disclosed in the audit report. Discuss the results and recommendations of the audit report with the concerned team and agree on an action plan to strengthen governance.
Lead effective communication with regulators / external auditors to provide required internal audit documents, formulate timely action plans for areas of improvement after consulting the team, and undertake regular follow-up to close accepted notes.
Ensure accurate, objective, clear, concise, constructive, complete and timely reporting of the results of internal audits to the Management and the Finance and Treasury Audit Committee.

- Update recruitment plans in accordance with the approved annual budget by implementing administrative processes and procedures regulating all recruitment movements related to SPL staff to ensure compatibility of the same with the approved regulations and instructions.
- Support recruitment cycle, including selecting, sorting and interviewing job candidates, preparing job offers, appointment, evaluating the probation period, managing staff preparation to ensure that all necessary tasks and requirements are met.
- Participate in the recruitment of people in the right jobs according to the skills, experience, and competencies required for the job.
- Review the work of interview committees to ensure that the best applicants are selected to fill the jobs and that all arrangements for conducting recruitment interviews are fulfilled in accordance with the approved rules and instructions.
- Review and develop selection, appointment and planning mechanisms by adopting interview selection methodologies according to the framework of behavioral, specialized and other competencies and tests to ensure that improvements are made and qualified cadres who are capable of performing the required tasks according to the specialty are selected.

Collaborate with Operations, LMD, sorting centers, retail, etc. to provide expert process engineering advice on related issues.
Help in conducting new studies in process and technology to overcome bottlenecks in operations and to effect process improvements.
- Coordinate with relevant government and international bodies to coordinate technical and operational issues and maintain relations with counterparts both inside and outside the Kingdom.
- Assist in developing and maintaining relations between key international decision makers, leadership and government regulators to strengthen the organization’s view on all policies, regulations and laws related to the work of SPL.
- Ensure compliance with policy and procedures in relation to international affairs activities, and develop guidelines for other departments so that initiatives, communication plans and materials comply with the SPL’s policies.

Support the development of key performance management measures to determine the competencies and skills required for all SPL’s units, ensuring the development of KPI framework for the concerned departments being graded from the general KPIs of the organization.
Develop SPL’s performance management system frameworks on a large scale in order to ensure that the performance of each employee is fairly and effectively measured as required in accordance with the approved principles and standards.
Follow up on the identification and update of KPIs in coordination with the concerned departments at SPL to ensure alignment with the available capabilities and competencies and that they can be implemented in accordance with the established principles and standards.
Run the implementation of performance evaluation and contribute to following up the compliance by all administrative units to their respective governing principles and rules in order to provide accurate data and statistics that support the development of organization performance at the levels of administrative units and individuals.
Support the review of performance management results to identify the strengths and development areas of employees and enable fair and effective practices of performance management for the same.
Provide the Talent Development Management with performance evaluation results to be used in the identification of training needs and support the same to develop progression and succession plans
- Provide leadership to enable and support the operations of the Command Center as needed.

Support the development of methodology and systems to ensure effective data intelligence management to support organizational operations and assure quality and integrity of data across SPL.
