Job Description
- Facilitate, manage, and review all tax filings and reports regularly and handle all information data requests internally & externally.
- Review tax procedures implementation in products, services, and contracts and issue recommendations to optimize the overall Tax & VAT position of SPL.
- Provide support to all businesses and act as Tax & VAT advisor on contracts and special projects.
- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
- Act as the single point of contact with ZATCA & business in all Tax & VAT matters.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
- Perform Tax & VAT audit on accounting books, procedures and Tax & VAT compliance/audit to current Sales and Billing systems, and ensure proper compliance is in place.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks and review financial statements and expenses.
