Job Description
- Lead the development and maintenance of strategic working relationships with key vendors, suppliers, strategic partners, and key customers to review service requirements to enhance customer experience.
- Lead the effective collaboration with leadership to understand how strategic direction / priorities will impact future vendor partnerships and manage the overall strategic vendor relationship between the SPL and the vendors ensuring optimum service, in line with defined SLAs and business requirements.
- Manage and facilitate the process for optimizing vendor relationships to support SPL’s strategy and ambition whilst providing subject matter expertise for the review and selection of vendors, development of RFPs and determine evaluation criteria to assure the acquisition of best in class services in line with business requirements.
- Lead the effective costing and development of project budgets to effectively compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates and determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
- Ensure overall management of the bidding process providing technical expertise and contribute to the contract negotiation and approval process to establish vendor partnerships and ensure ongoing compliance of vendors with contract terms
