Job Description
Vendor Management
Lead the identification of profitable suppliers and initiating business and organization strategic partnerships to ensure favourable prices and services are provided to Saudi Post.
Stay abreast of market trends to create and develop sourcing technics and methodologies that support Saudi post requirements.
Ensure that the vendor management and procurement teams maintain positive working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are being met.
Develop and maintain an extensive database of suppliers and contractors for all categories to help in sourcing requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
Guide and manage the overall supplier management activities & processes, including the supplier registration & pre-qualification, supplier segmentation, supplier performance management, and integrate the analysis, outcomes in order to attain joint advantage & collaboration between Saudi Post and its suppliers.
Manage workshops with suppliers to discuss the requirements of Saudi Post as well as all relevant policies and procedures in order to ensure an effective partnership with suppliers.
Plan and manage the implementation of supplier performance management processes & activities, including supplier performance evaluations and the supplier development actions.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure the timely and accurate process of supplier payment.
Issue Resolution
Maintain productive relationships with key suppliers and follow up with them on issues escalated by internal teams in order to ensure timely order receipt and complaint resolution.
Manage any issue or complaints raised by suppliers to ensure it is timely resolved so to maintain a good working relationship with suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a relevant area.
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, or supply chain is desirable.
A CIPS Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma & CPSM Certified Professional in Supply Management (preferred).
Outstanding knowledge of best practices in vendor Management.
Outstanding knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in analyzing the market.
Minimum Experience:
8 years of experience in vendor management with 4 years of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
