Job Description
- Evaluate the needs in terms of products and services and consolidate the plans in order to ensure synergy and alignment with the SPL’s strategy & objectives.
- Analyze current procurement requirements to recommend improvement or cost reduction measures via innovative approaches in achieving economies of scale, long-term price agreements.
- Monitor and drive the procurement processes and purchase cycle to achieve optimal results for the organization.
- Work closely with the finance team throughout the procurement cycle where necessary to ensure due diligence is carried out on new vendors and providing support to the accounts payable function whenever needed.
- Lead negotiations of contracts on fees and terms and conditions in order to get the best value for money and achievement of optimum benefits to the organization.
- Ensure that all tendering activities are undertaken to schedule and any changes to the agreed timelines are monitored & mitigated with the relevant stakeholder.
