Job Description
- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or cloud infrastructure management and is often regarded as a source of knowledge to other subordinates.
- Solves unique problems that have a broad impact on the business.
- Contributes to the development of organization's cloud infrastructure strategy.
- May lead teams or projects within the cloud infrastructure section
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and platform services, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable environments that support business growth.
- Enable automation, manage backup and disaster recovery, and integrating identity solutions like Active Directory, while driving operational excellence and innovation across cloud systems.
- Design and implement secure and scalable IT infrastructure solutions (on-premise and cloud).
- Manage physical and virtual server environments (Windows/Linux)
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, DevOps, and application teams to align infrastructure with business needs
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive improvements
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested regularly
- Maintain and support network systems including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Manage and oversee backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity, system resilience, and business continuity
