- Organize and supervise the work of the assigned team to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
- Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to assigned team to support their overall development.
- Promote SPL’s values and ethics in all activities within the team to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization.
- Support the implementation of project governance standards across the IT portfolio, including tracking and monitoring project deliverables, ensuring regular updates, and facilitating communication between project teams and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the delivery process by assisting in defining project scope, collaborating with teams to ensure smooth execution of activities, and supporting the overall project plan to ensure milestones are met.
- Work closely with leadership to understand how strategic priorities impact vendor relationships. Support the management of vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of services that align with SLAs and business requirements.
- Identify areas within technology operations where third-party resources may be beneficial. Assist in developing recommendations for establishing new vendor partnerships or optimizing existing relationships.
- Collaborate with the Strategy Team to help manage technology adoption through portfolio prioritization and ensure effective project management frameworks are followed, both agile and traditional, within the team.
- Help optimize vendor relationships by providing insights into the review and selection of vendors. Assist in developing RFPs and defining evaluation criteria to ensure the selection of vendors that align with business needs.
- Participate in the development of project budgets, assisting in comparing vendor proposals, specifications, and delivery timelines to ensure the selection of the most cost-effective and suitable suppliers.
- Support the management of the bidding process, contributing technical expertise and assisting in contract negotiations to establish vendor relationships and ensure vendors comply with contract terms.
- Proactively analyze opportunities for cost reductions by realigning vendor partnerships or switching vendors where necessary. Collaborate with Procurement and Legal teams to engage vendors and support contract negotiations.
- Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet SPL and department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
- Proactively engage with clients and provide solutions to achieve optimum client satisfaction and brand loyalty for SPL.
- Facilitate the review, enhancement, and implementation of processes to manage client relationships to enhance the customer journey in line with the organization’s customer experience strategy.
- Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
