Job Description

  • Work with SP’s function heads to develop competitive and executable strategies; determine strategic choices and perform trade-off analyses; assess capability requirements and design appropriate to-be business and operating models.
  • Determine gap between as-is and to-be business/operating models and establish roadmap to the to-be state.
  • Analyse new market opportunities and recommend entry strategies and expected returns on investment.
  • Develop a strategic management culture in order to support the implementation of the vision, mission and objectives of SP, and plan the needed supporting change management activities in coordination with owning departments.
  • Develop the strategic management infrastructure and templates for the development of strategy in order to support the establishment and implementation of a strategic management culture.
  • Contribute to the process of service and product development, by reviewing product and service catalogues and proposing new ones to cover identified gaps.
  • Support privatization efforts across the organization, through proposing and delivering needed initiatives and activities.
  • Collaborate with the functions across SP to define their objectives and business plans/budgets to ensure the cascading from the overall strategy.
  • Lead and direct the effective achievement of functional objectives through effective leadership and by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating team to maximize performance.
  • Lead the talent development initiatives for the assigned function, collaborating with discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements.
  • Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigned function to ensure the establishment of a value driven culture within the organization.
  • Oversee the consolidation and recommend the functional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
  • Manage the development and the implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all areas of assigned functional so that all relevant procedural/regulatory requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
  • Lead the management of change through continuous improvement of functional systems, processes and practices taking into account global standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
  • Plan and direct the conceptualization and development of customer experience management policies and processes enabling the establishment of a customer centric culture which enhances the customer journey with SPL.
  • Direct the review and continuous improvement of customer experience policies and initiatives and assure compliance to defined quality standards to achieve customer service excellence.
  • Lead the development and nurturing of strong key business relationships with all relevant external/internal stakeholders with the highest standards of business ethics that maximize opportunities for SPL while ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic direction and business requirement.
  • Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet SPL requirements, policies, and quality standards.
  • Manage the yearly consolidation of existing assets, new opportunities and future growth opportunities and inform senior management of investment profiles, cash flows and risks while advising them on anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance so that performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.
  • Facilitate and assess the economic analysis for the assets and the opportunities included in the annual strategic plan to ensure that consistent methodology and economic variables have been used in order to allow aggregation and comparison.
  • Develop the annual organization-wide business plan in collaboration with all concerned stakeholders which serves as a road map to achieve the strategic goals of Saudi Post.
